Now here's an interesting development coming out of Familylink.com CEO Paul Allen. According to an article in
the Mormon Times, he is launching a new site that will "allow users to upload their family trees
and then, coupled with historical data on the site, learn more about
the environment in which their ancestors lived." I actually seek out this kind of information more often than the traditional genealogy names and dates because it provides color, context and can make ancestors seem more real. It will be interesting to see how Familylink brings it all together.
Worldhistory.com is in private beta right now, but you can leave your email address and they will notify you when launches for everyone.
